Content Manager - Sitecore

job summary:

The Content Manager will be working a hybrid schedule in Lansing. Will need to be onsite from day 1, twice a week.

Local candidates only (must already be located within 75 miles of Lansing, MI).

This position will provide Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA testing and remediation for Sitecore Content Management Solution site and content within the CMS. This individual must have Sitecore designer and author experience. Remediation of digital content includes PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and images.

responsibilities:

• Key actions involve structuring documents, tagging content, adding alt text, and establishing logical reading orders and more.
• Accessibility testing to ensure conformance to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, specifically with WCAG 2.1 AA.
• This position will work independently under MDCR direction and prioritization following e-Michigan web content standards.

qualifications:

- 3+ years of working experience with ADA remediation.

- 3+ years of experience with Sitecore Content Management Solution.

- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA Guidelines

- Experience with ADA testing tools

- Strong background with ADA Remediation of digital content including: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images, Reports on multiple formats
