Inventory Control Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's notable Semiconductor client is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist in Fremont, CA. This is a 2 year contract to start that is 100% on-site.

Summary:
Do you have a meticulous eye for detail and notice when things are off? You're the first to notice and can figure out how to get things back on track? You are proactive, highly organized, self-driven, and expect the best from yourself, even under pressure. Responsibilities include, pulling reservation orders, staging for pickup, reclaim wafers, safeguard customer intellectual property, receiving incoming wafer deliveries, perform inventory audits.

Day to day:
* Auditing, stocking, and dispensing of materials to lab users
* Inspecting and maintaining lab areas for safety and Intellectual Property (IP) issues
* Follow established processes to sustain & govern existing lab services
* Support lab improvement projects on a need basis
* Work with cross functional teams to minimize inventory variances and implement improved processes to increase overall inventory accuracy
* Resolve discrepancies; investigate misidentified or out of balance items with root cause analysis; Identify necessary preventive measures to assure there are no re-occurrence
* Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored
* Keep inventory room clean and organized
* Notify Key stakeholders when project materials have been received
* Provides backup support to Wafer Cage Team
* Work in a Lab environment which requires use of Lab suits to perform wafer reclaims and other duties in the lab
* Perform other duties as directed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Inventory experience
* Material handling experience
* Cycle counting experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Office applications
* Capable of working in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment
* Experience with SAP preferred
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Able to stand/ walk and bend for long periods of time
* Ability to interpret large data sets and summarize using Pivot tables and charts

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
