Job Title: Network Cloud Testing Engineer

Location- Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Cloud Testing Engineer to validate and ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of cloud-based networking solutions. The role involves testing cloud infrastructure, network configurations, and distributed systems across public and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans for cloud networking solutions and infrastructure.

• Validate network performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.

• Test cloud networking components such as VPCs, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls, and routing configurations.

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

• Automate testing processes using scripting and test automation tools.

• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud engineers, and developers to ensure quality delivery.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and cloud-related defects.

• Conduct network protocol testing (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, etc.).

• Validate hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity scenarios.

• Develop and maintain test documentation, reports, and test cases.

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 4–8+ years of experience in network/cloud testing or QA.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, switching).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Experience with network services such as VPC, subnets, NAT, VPN, DNS, load balancers.

• Familiarity with network testing tools (Wireshark, iPerf, Postman, etc.).

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for test automation.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Understanding of virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Networking, CCNA/CCNP, or Azure Network Engineer.

• Experience with SDN, NFV, or cloud-native networking.

• Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards.

• Exposure to performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Locust).

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
