Job#: 3029065 Job Description: Apex Systems is seeking a Palantir Engineer who you will help develop and deploy technical solutions to integrate data, transform insights, and build first-class applications for operational decisions. You will leverage core company products, open-source technologies, and everything your team can build to drive real impact. You will work with customers around the globe, gaining rare insight into the world's most important industries and institutions.
Details/Requirements:
- Pay Rate: $90 - $100/hr on contract W2
- 2 Month Contract w/ the intention to convert full time
- Minimum Secret clearance
- Comfortable with onsite commitment 3-4 days a week in Washington D.C.

Core Responsibilities: Set up transfers of data feeds from source systems into locations accessible to the platform
Debug issues related to delayed or missing data feeds
Write transformations and derive new datasets using Spark for distributed computation
Monitor build progress and debug build problems
Design applications using the platform's application development framework to address operational questions
Execute rapid development and iteration cycles with SMEs, including testing and troubleshooting application issues
Execute requests for information (RFIs) surrounding the platform's data footprint
Iterate with product teams while debugging and understanding the code backing core platform components
What We Value: Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
Proficiency with programming languages such as Python (PySpark, Pandas), SQL, R, or similar
Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures as they pertain to development and problem solving
Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
Comfort working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users
Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
Proven track record of strong customer communications including feedback gathering, execution updates, and troubleshooting
