Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion US Payroll Solution Architect to lead
Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations for US-based client. The candidate will be
responsible for solution design, client advisory, requirements gathering, payroll
configuration, legislative compliance, testing, deployment, and post-go-live
stabilization.
The ideal candidate should possess strong Oracle Fusion Payroll functional
expertise, deep understanding of US payroll legislation, Fast formula expertise and
excellent client-facing consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design
Lead Oracle Fusion US Payroll solution design workshops and end-to-end
Oracle Fusion US Payroll implementations.
Independently interact with business users to gather and document business
requirements.
Define the payroll architecture and operating model.
Hands-on experience configuring payroll elements, balances, payroll
processing, and developing/troubleshooting complex Payroll Fast Formulas
and calculations.
Manage and support CRP, SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll, and production
deployment activities.
Support payroll parallel run and reconciliation requirements.
US Payroll Legislative Expertise to Configure and manage Federal taxes,
State taxes, Local taxes, Garnishments, FLSA, Wage attachments, Payroll
balances, Costing, W-2 processing, Year-end payroll activities, Payroll
statutory reporting
Understand the impact of payroll with other applications such as Finance GL,
Third party Pension systems. Design payroll costing and General Ledger
integration solutions and support payroll-to-finance reconciliation.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Core HR, Workforce Structures, Legal Employers,
Payroll Statutory Units (PSU), and Tax Reporting Units (TRU).
Additional US Union & Non-Union Payroll Responsibilities
Strong experience implementing Oracle Fusion US Payroll solutions for both
unionized and non-union workforces.
Ability to interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and configure
complex union payroll rules including overtime, differentials, shift premiums,
holiday pay, call-out pay, and negotiated deductions
Expertise in union dues, pension plans, benefit fund contributions, earnings,
deductions, premiums, overtime, and other labor agreement-driven payroll
processes.
Experience supporting multiple bargaining units and multi-state payroll
environments.
