Java Microservices Developer
A leading engineering team is seeking a Java Developer to support high-impact retail engineering initiatives in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a hands-on coding role focused on building scalable enterprise applications using modern Java technologies and distributed systems architecture.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Core Java, multithreading, Spring technologies, messaging systems, batch processing, and database technologies..
The ideal candidate will have of hands-on Java development experience with deep knowledge of Core Java concepts including collections, memory management, and multithreading.
Strong experience with Spring Core, Spring MVC, JDBC, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, relational and NoSQL databases, and messaging middleware is required. Experience with Splunk, batch processing frameworks, and enterprise-scale application development is essential.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise Java applications while collaborating with engineering teams in a fast-paced onsite environment.
You will contribute to backend development, distributed systems, database integrations, CI/CD automation, and application optimization while following development best practices and scalable architecture standards.
