Title: Analyst (Learning Operations)
Location: Chicago, IL-Remote
This is a hands-on role requiring experience with data analytics, learning management platforms, and digital learning tools.
PURPOSE:
Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Analyst (Learning Operations) to join our Global Learning & Capability Building team. This role supports the execution of the Brand Immersion training program.
The Brand Immersion training program is a sales enablement-focused learning initiative, equipping developers with the knowledge and tools to understand, position, and apply Hyatt brand standards in real-world development and deal contexts. This role helps translate brand standards and experience principles into practical, commercially relevant learning that supports deal development and owner engagement.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Own execution of platform and logistical components of the Brand Immersion program, including content publishing, configuration, analytics, and ongoing maintenance
• Analyze data (platform analytics and survey data) and identify actionable improvements
• Build and maintain simple dashboards or reports to track program performance
• Identify trends in learner behavior and recommend improvements to content or delivery
• Build and update digital learning assets (e.g., basic modules, job aids, guides)
• Apply basic technical skills (e.g., HTML, iframes) to enhance learning content
• Troubleshoot LMS and content issues (e.g., SCORM tracking, launch errors), escalating more complex problems as needed
• Ensure learning tools and workflows (e.g., Articulate, video tools, LMS) work together effectively to support efficient content creation and delivery
• Leverage AI and tools to accelerate content development and program execution
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years in Learning & Development, Learning Operations, HR Technology (HRIT), or related experience
• Experience working with reporting and interpreting data (e.g., completion, engagement, performance metrics)
• Hands-on experience managing content within an LMS/LXP (uploading, configuring, testing, publishing)
• Experience working with SCORM content (uploading, testing, basic troubleshooting)
• Basic familiarity with HTML or similar (e.g., embeds, simple edits such as iframes)
• Strong attention to detail and execution skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Experience using reporting or analytics tools (e.g., LMS reporting, Excel, or similar) to evaluate learning effectiveness
• Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards
• Experience troubleshooting LMS or content delivery issues
• Experience with tools such as Articulate, Saba, Precipio, Oracle, or NovoEd
• Exposure to reporting and learning analytics
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, Education, or related) or equivalent hands-on experience. Alternative pathways equally valued, such as technical certifications, bootcamps, or self-taught experience
