An enterprise organization is seeking an SAP S/4HANA EAM Lead in Parsippany, NJ to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise asset management capabilities within SAP S/4HANA. This role focuses on work management, detailed scheduling, and integrated MRO supply chain execution to support efficient maintenance operations and inventory flow.
About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EAM solution design across maintenance notifications, work orders, planning, scheduling, execution, and closure.
Design and configure detailed maintenance scheduling, including capacity-based scheduling, prioritization of preventive maintenance, and backlog work management.
Support MRO warehouse and inventory processes, including directed picking, directed putaway, staging, issuing, returns, and cycle counting.
Design and support integration between SAP S/4HANA EAM and SAP Ariba for services procurement, goods receipts, invoice verification, and service entry sheets.
Partner with maintenance, operations, reliability, supply chain, and procurement stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions and support testing, cutover, training, and hypercare.
Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP EAM or Asset Management.
Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA EAM implementations or conversions.
Deep knowledge of work order planning, detailed scheduling, and maintenance work management.
Strong experience with MRO inventory and warehouse integration.
Strong integration experience with SAP Ariba for services and material procurement.
Solid understanding of manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, chemicals, or other asset-intensive industries.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional workshops.
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting shutdown, turnaround, or outage maintenance.
Exposure to EWM-enabled or WM-integrated MRO environments.
Experience with SAP Fiori apps for EAM and warehouse operations.
Background working in globally distributed asset environments.
