Job Title: PowerBI Developer with AI
Location: Remote
Mandatory Skills: Power BI Developer with AI experience, Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), Semantic Models, RLS, Workspace Administration, Deployment Pipelines, and Data Gateway Management.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
Key Requirements
6+ years of BI/Analytics experience with at least 4+ years in Power BI development.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), Semantic Models, RLS, Workspace Administration, Deployment Pipelines, and Data Gateway Management.
Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
Experience with Google Cloud BigQuery, Databricks, and/or Oracle Database.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI best practices.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions.
Ability to create effective prompts and validate AI-generated outputs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into analytics solutions.
Integrate Power BI with BigQuery, Databricks, Oracle, or a combination of these data sources.
Develop scalable data models, KPIs, calculations, and measures using DAX and Power Query.
Optimize report performance, dataset refreshes, and query execution.
Leverage AI tools for development, SQL, DAX, documentation, testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and project teams.
Support UAT, deployment, production releases, and post-production support.
Ensure adherence to enterprise BI standards, security, governance, and best practices.
Review and validate AI-generated outputs for quality and compliance.
Preferred Skills:
Python or PowerShell scripting for automation.
Power BI REST APIs.
CI/CD and DevOps practices for Power BI deployments.
Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and governance tools.
Experience in large-scale enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
Microsoft Power BI Certification.
