Role - Hogan Mainframe Developer
Location -
MN,GA, TX, NC, OH, CA , NJ ,IL (multiple location) on-site

JD:

The candidate should have strong knowledge of at least one Hogan banking platform, along with solid Mainframe development skills using COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2, and CICS. Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with business and technical teams is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain complex applications within Hogan Banking Systems.

  • Work extensively with one or more Hogan banking systems, including Hogan IDS, CIS, RPM, ILP, ODS, or PAS.

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.

  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2, and CICS.

  • Perform application testing, debugging, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution.

  • Support application implementation, deployment, migration, and production stabilization activities.

  • Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues within established service-level requirements.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, production support teams, and other technology stakeholders.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

  • Ensure application changes meet business requirements, technical standards, security guidelines, and banking industry practices.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to application design, development, testing, and production support.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow established development and quality standards.

  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
