About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Software Engineer who’s passionate about building scalable, cloud-based solutions. If you enjoy working with Python, AWS, and modern development practices, this is a great opportunity to make an impact. This role is based in our San Diego office with hybrid flexibility.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain software using Python
- Use AWS to design, deploy, and manage cloud applications
- Work with data pipelines and cloud engineering tools
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with other teams to launch new features
- Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
- Review code and share feedback with teammates
- Stay current with new tech and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Solid understanding of coding standards, design patterns, and ETL/ELT workflows
- Great problem-solving and communication skills
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Node.js, React, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with microservices and REST APIs
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- SQL/NoSQL database knowledge
- Monitoring tools like CloudWatch or ELK Stack
- Prior experience in a senior or lead role
