RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an SDET in Westlake, TX.

Duties:
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
* Testing distributed applications across multiple layers of the tech stack
* Partner with DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
* Create and maintain test data for complex testing scenarios
* Analyze system requirements, architectures, and technical specifications for testability
* Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to improve processes and enhance product quality
* Conduct static code analysis using tools like SonarQube
* Contribute to quality standards, engineering best practices, and cross-team improvements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
* 5-7 years of experience in software development or quality engineering with strong automation focus
* Hands-on experience testing distributed applications end-to-end
* Experience with Empirix Hammer or CallMaster for telecom/IVR testing (highly desired)
* Experience with automation frameworks and libraries such as: Junit, Selenium / TestNG, Playwright, TestRunner frameworks
* Experience with API testing tools like Rest Assured or Karate
* Experience in testing distributed applications across multiple layers of the tech stack
* Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and tools (e.g., JIRA)
* Prior exposure to telecom, contact center, or IVR application testing
* Familiarity with AWS services including VPC, S3, Lambda, SQS, and SNS
* Ability to work across teams in matrixed environments and deliver within sprint schedules

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
