Automation Product Manager/Product Owner someone whose experience closely mirrors that of a Product Lead and a business analyst. It s essential that this person has robust strategic product and project management skills related to delivery execution, as this remains a core aspect of their strategic responsibilities.

Expertise in managing opportunities across RPA, Agentic, AI, and web applications is a must.
Our vision for this role has evolved, blending strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The Product Manager/Product Owner will not only oversee product management and drive business development agility, but will also be highly involved in writing detailed requirements and user stories, collaborating with business stakeholders for sign-off, and documenting user story descriptions and acceptance criteria. Once requirements are finalized, they ll be handed over to the development team, with ongoing support provided throughout the lifecycle working closely with both business stakeholders and developers to build, deploy, and maintain automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and disciplined, excelling at documentation and maintaining accuracy throughout every step. Strategically, this position is taking on a more outbound-focused role, actively identifying new opportunities, engaging clients, and driving growth through proactive networking and relationship-building. Nurturing early stage leads, building strong relationships across lines of business to uncover automation opportunities, and precisely tracking leads, opportunities, and value are central to their responsibilities.
Partnering with Business Champions to develop domain expertise and understand operations is essential. Identifying and qualifying automation use cases, reviewing and validating roadmap opportunities, and refining priorities as needed are key components of the role.
From a product vision perspective, they ll define a clear automation vision aligned with business objectives, maintain a value-driven roadmap based on impact and performance, and establish KPIs to ensure direction is continuously adjusted based on value realization.
For problem framing and feasibility, the role includes guiding opportunity assessments, clarifying problem statements and MVP scope, documenting high-level As-Is workflows, and identifying process gaps all while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and measurable KPIs.
Solution strategy requires close collaboration with architects and engineers to explore solution approaches, drive prototype development, and partner with technical teams to estimate effort, cost, and feasibility.
In terms of business case, they ll create ROI-driven cases highlighting anticipated savings and efficiency gains, present recommendations for prioritization and funding, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment.
Continuous improvement is also at the heart of this role, with responsibilities including defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs across initiatives, and adjusting the roadmap and backlog based on adoption, performance trends, and evolving needs.
