Role Overview

As an SDE II, you will focus on high-impact software development tied to production applications and critical internal systems. This role is designed for a developer who thrives in a collaborative engineering environment, balancing design and coding with the troubleshooting of complex application issues. You will be instrumental in improving system functionality, monitoring, and technical processes to support B2B initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Software Development: Lead design and coding initiatives aimed at system enhancements and new feature development.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within internally developed applications to ensure high availability.
• System Optimization: Improve monitoring solutions and refine feature-related metrics systems to track performance and stability.
• Automation & Documentation: Contribute to the automation of support processes and maintain rigorous technical documentation.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional development teams on internal software initiatives and system updates.

Typical Day in the Role

• Engage in deep-focus development, design, and coding tasks.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and technical team discussions.
• Troubleshoot production application issues and implement long-term resolutions.
• Collaborate with teammates on peer code reviews and system architecture enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Java Expert: Significant professional coding experience specifically in Java.
• Data-Driven: Strong experience working with data-based systems and backend architecture.
• Problem Solving: A proven track record of technical problem-solving and handling internal tools/applications.

• B2B Experience: Experience building or supporting Business-to-Business (B2B) platforms.
