Job Title: Senior Data & Application Administrator III (MRO Enterprise Systems)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly technical, and detail-oriented Senior Data & Application Administrator III to oversee, support, and optimize our enterprise Maintenance & Engineering (MRO) application environment. In this role, you will serve as the technical subject matter expert responsible for database administration, middleware operations, system integration troubleshooting, and multi-environment deployment coordination across development, QA, UAT, and production landscapes.

This is a critical enterprise infrastructure role for a professional who bridges database engineering, application support, and cross-functional project coordination. You will write complex SQL scripts, manage Oracle backups and rollbacks, coordinate vendor patches and upgrades, and collaborate closely with onshore/offshore resources, business analysts, and product managers. Key Responsibilities
Application Administration & Database Management
MRO Administration: Administer, configure, and support enterprise Maintenance & Engineering (MRO) applications (such as TRAX) within complex operational environments.
SQL & Data Maintenance: Design, test, and execute complex SQL queries, data correction scripts, and automated maintenance procedures.
Backup & Recovery: Perform database backups, restores, environment refreshes, disaster recovery activities, and build tested rollback scripts for database and application changes.
Oracle Administration: Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Oracle database environments to ensure high performance, security, and data integrity.

Middleware & Integration Support
Application Servers: Support and administer middleware platforms including Apache Tomcat and JBoss application servers; manage deployments, configuration changes, service restarts, and log analysis.
System Integrations: Troubleshoot API integrations, web services, and application-to-application data flows between enterprise systems, isolating and resolving data integrity bottlenecks.
Environment Promotion: Migrate and promote database, configuration, and application changes smoothly across Development, QA, Training, UAT, and

Production environments.
Release Governance & Collaboration
Release Management: Coordinate application upgrades, vendor releases, service packs, and patches in strict alignment with change management and deployment planning protocols.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with infrastructure teams, software vendors, and global onshore/offshore development and QE resources to resolve complex technical roadblocks.
Backlog Prioritization: Partner with Business Analysts and Product Managers to define, scope, and prioritize technical work items and operational enhancements.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aviation Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience Baseline: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise application administration, database management, or middleware support.
Technical Mastery:
oProven hands-on experience administering and supporting aviation Maintenance & Engineering (MRO) applications (e.g., TRAX).
oStrong SQL scripting capabilities, including data correction, query optimization, and test/rollback script creation.
oHands-on knowledge of Oracle database administration, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
oExperience supporting middleware application servers (Apache Tomcat, JBoss).
oWorking knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration (command-line operations, log analysis, process monitoring, file permissions).
Core Competencies: Comprehensive understanding of change management, release planning, and production support lifecycles; strong technical documentation and cross-functional communication skills; ability to coordinate work streams across global teams.

Preferred Attributes
Deep domain expertise in airline MRO business processes, including maintenance planning, records management, engineering controls, and aircraft configuration management.
Prior experience working within regulated aviation or transportation engineering environments.
