Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior QA Tester
Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX or Southlake, TX (4 days a week onsite)
Duration: 4 months with possibility of extension
Minimum qualifications
9 years of hands-on QA engineering experience, including designing and executing test scenarios for APIs, user interfaces, scheduled jobs, and databases.
8 years of experience developing test automation scripts for web-enabled applications.
3 years of experience working with Agile methodologies and related collaboration tools.
2 years of experience using Jira or similar case management tools to support test case execution.
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting cybersecurity tools and applications, specifically Identity and Access Management platforms.
Familiarity with security technology platforms such as Zscaler, SailPoint IdentityIQ, PingID, HYPR, or similar solutions.
Strong understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and modern testing frameworks.
Comprehensive understanding of the overall software development life cycle, spanning business analysis, development, testing, maintenance, and improvement.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey essential information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple departments.

Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across multiple application layers.
Develop, maintain, and enhance robust test automation scripts for web-based applications.
Lead advanced quality assurance testing activities for designated business areas to confirm operational reliability.
Support the testing, implementation, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management tools and other cybersecurity platforms.
Communicate project statuses, testing results, and technical insights to cross-functional groups.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and testing frameworks.
