Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to translate business and information architecture into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical data solutions. This role is responsible for defining the how designing end-to-end data architectures, pipelines, and integration frameworks in a global enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure data services, modern data engineering practices, and cloud networking, with a strong ability to convert conceptual models into actionable technical blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end data architecture across ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption layers
Translate business and information architecture artifacts into technical data blueprints and solution designs
Architect scalable and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Define data integration patterns, including batch, streaming, and real-time processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across global data platforms
Design and optimize data models (conceptual, logical, and physical)
Establish best practices for data quality, lineage, and observability
Work closely with cloud teams to define networking, security, and infrastructure architecture
Provide technical leadership and guidance on data platform modernization initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Lake / Storage solutions
Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VNet, Private Endpoints, Firewall, etc.)
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines and architectures
Expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark-based processing frameworks
Experience with data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault)
Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks
Experience working in global / distributed environments
