Our client is seeking an Juniper Mist Expert in Naperville, IL.

Role description

We are seeking a Senior Juniper Mist Engineer to support ongoing lab initiatives, trials, and proof of concept work within their Naperville, IL facility. This engineer will play a key role in validating solutions, supporting lab operations, and creating technical documentation. This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Juniper Mist networking technologies.

Execute trials, testing activities, and proof of concept (POC) efforts involving Juniper Mist solutions
Provide onsite support for lab environments
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Juniper Mist wireless, switching, and AI-driven networking components
Collaborate with engineering teams as work direction is provided by the client
Produce high-quality documentation, including test plans, configuration guides, and deployment notes
Participate in technical discussions, evaluations, and solution recommendations
Travel occasionally to other sites as required (if not local)
Conducting trials and proof of concept (POC) work
Supporting lab environments onsite
Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Skills & Requirements

Senior-level experience in network engineering
Strong, hands-on Juniper Mist expertise (wireless, EX switches, Mist AI, cloud dashboard)
Deep understanding of enterprise networking technologies, including WLAN, LAN, routing, and network automation concepts
Experience supporting lab environments, test setups, and proof-of-concept activities
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work onsite in Naperville, IL (preferred)
