Job Role: Microsoft Fabric Architect
Location: Remote ( but travel required to Northville, MI preferred)
Duration 6-12 months
Job Description:
The client is migrating to Microsoft Fabric and seeks a partner to operationalize the platform by establishing CI/CD and release management, standard orchestration/scheduling patterns, and production‑readiness gates (Recoverability, Auditability, Security, Performance/Availability) across workloads. The vendor will facilitate working sessions, document standards and patterns, implement solutions, and train teams for sustainable ownership.
· CI/CD & Release Management established (repo/branching, automated builds/deploys, approvals, rollback, deployment evidence).
· Orchestration patterns & runbooks (native Fabric scheduling and/or enterprise scheduler integration; failure taxonomy, retries/compensation, escalation).
· Four‑Pillar readiness gates implemented (checklists + evidence packs) and used to approve product go‑live(s).
· Standards, documentation, and training delivered for long‑term internal ownership; architecture documentation includes design and solution patterns.
