Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of technology solutions built on the Salesforce platform. This role involves clearly defining business problems, mapping to-be processes, and writing user stories while championing the overall user experience. Collaborating closely with business owners, subject matter experts, and technical teams, the Product Manager owns the technical delivery, product roadmap, and overall health of the Salesforce SaaS applications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and document the overall business problem and to-be functional product implementation that meets business goals

  • Quantifies value of proposed projects/solutions in order to cross-prioritize and sequence work

  • Quantifies trade-offs between out-of-box Salesforce functionality vs customizations

  • Drives definition of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and documenting product roadmap

  • Owns delivery of product roadmap and feature release plans

  • Tracks overall cost-to-own and application health and usage KPIs

Requirements

  • Platform Expertise: 5+ years working directly with the Salesforce platform, with specific expertise in Service Cloud, Communities, and Agentforce. (Salesforce certifications are highly desired).

  • Experience with Agile Scrum delivery framework, specifically user story mapping, user story definition, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies

  • Experience working with distributed external resources and vendor teams (onshore and offshore)

  • Product Managementexperiencedriving discovery through value realization

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems (ERP, data lakes, marketing platforms).

  • Experience building on the Salesforce platform using low code tools such as Flows, Lightning App Builder, and simple analytics + reporting.

  • Understanding of SaaS platform development best practices

  • Analytical mindset able to break down complex business problems and document proposed process solutions

  • Exposure to project financial management such as budget tracking and rolling estimates

  • Strategic Problem Solver:Possesses an analytical mindset capable of performing formal analysis, authoring clear documentation, and providing written interpretations of findings.

  • Dynamic Prioritization:Self-directed and capable of multitasking effectively. Thrives in environments with bursts of project activity and can continuously realign coarse and fine-grained priorities.

  • Consensus Builder:Effective at navigating stakeholder relationships to uncover root concerns, resolve issues, and negotiate paths forward with leadership.

  • Enterprise Architecture Awareness:Strong understanding of SaaS development best practices and how Salesforce integrates into a broader enterprise ecosystem.

  • Competent Multi-tasker - There are a lot of projects in bursts. The resource must be able to accomplish prioritized tasks, given a mixture of coarse and fine grained priorities
