Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Calypso Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Front Office implementation and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and customizing Calypso solutions, working across Pricing, Trade Capture, Event Services, and Regulatory Reporting modules. Candidates should possess a strong Java development background and experience supporting enterprise-scale financial trading platforms.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Capital Markets domain expertise.
- Strong Calypso implementation experience.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Calypso (Version 18+ preferred).
- Strong experience implementing Calypso functionality within Front Office.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Pricing
- Trade Capture
- Event Services
- Regulatory Reporting Modules
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
- Oracle or Sybase database experience.
- Unix Shell Scripting.
- Experience in Calypso customization, development, integration, upgrades, production support, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets.
- Experience working with:
- Equities
- Fixed Income
- Commodities
- Derivatives
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Experience integrating Calypso with enterprise systems.
- Agile methodology experience.
- CI/CD and DevOps exposure.
- Build, deployment, and environment management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work directly with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA, and business teams.

- CI/CD implementation experience.
- Advanced Java development skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and support Calypso applications.
- Implement Front Office functionality across multiple trading modules.
- Develop and maintain Java-based enhancements and integrations.
- Participate in system upgrades and production support.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support build, deployment, and environment management activities.
- Drive technical discussions with minimal supervision.
- Ensure successful delivery following Agile and DevOps best practices.
