Position: Security Operations Center Analyst
Location: Harrisburg, PA 17110
Work Mode: Onsite

Job Description:
The Tier I SOC Analyst will act as a core member of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, contributing to overall operational readiness and supporting a 24/7 shift schedule. Candidates must be willing to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Provide proactive, on-site monitoring and response for mission-essential communication sites and information systems.
  • Classify, prioritize, and escalate alerts promptly to ensure timely resolution.
  • Follow established procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, classification, and escalation to meet performance targets.
  • Capture, log, respond to, and escalate events from email, chat, voice, and other systems with accurate documentation.
  • Collect and analyze technical data to classify events, distinguish valid issues from false positives, and maintain triage accuracy standards.
  • Work with team members to develop and refine playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
  • Coordinate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of incidents and recommended response actions.
  • Provide support during network and security incidents, assisting with resolution efforts as directed.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts in a 24/7 schedule.
  • 1–3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
