Summary

We are looking for an Application Support & Operations Engineer responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and operational support of business applications. The role will troubleshoot production issues, perform basic application analysis, coordinate incident resolution, and work with development and infrastructure teams to maintain system availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor applications, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and production environments.
Provide L1/L2 application support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Perform application maintenance, configuration changes, deployments, and routine operational activities.
Use basic Java knowledge to understand application issues, logs, code flow, and support troubleshooting.
Use SQL to query databases, validate data, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic data analysis.
Analyze application logs and identify the root cause of production issues.
Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
Support batch jobs, interfaces, system monitoring, and scheduled processes.
Maintain support documentation, runbooks, incident records, and operational procedures.
Participate in production releases, testing, system upgrades, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills:
Java (basic), SQL, application support, production support, troubleshooting, monitoring, incident management, Unix/Linux basics, and understanding of SDLC.
