Description: Our client is currently seeking a MGR - ENTERPRISE CORES AND APPLICATION

Financial services background will be a strong fit given the need for FiservDNA experience.

- Technical, operational, and project support. This is a new team - Business Services.

- The environment includes significant software expansion and upgrades.

- They use FiservDNA - a core banking platform.

- There is currently a large knowledge gap in configuring the software correctly.

- FiservDNA experience is essential.

- Oversight of BSAs is part of the role.

- Other core technologies include Baker Hill (lending system), Lenderlink, and Amount (a new platform being onboarded for online account applications).

- Additional applications and integrations are expected.

General Description

The Enterprise Applications and Cores Manager is responsible for managing implementation, governance, and support of enterprise software solutions related to project delivery and operational support. This includes overseeing projects from concept to production, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing vendor relationships. The role requires roadmap planning, subject matter expertise across multiple enterprise platforms, and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.

Tasks, Duties, and Functions

- Manage the full development lifecycle and operational support of enterprise software solutions.

- Oversee installations, upgrades, and configuration of software for both projects and operations.

- Lead a team of technical business analysts and subject matter experts.

- Coach, train, and evaluate team members; conduct performance reviews and manage career development.

- Foster a positive work environment that promotes growth, morale, and alignment with organizational values.

- Collaborate with product managers, vendors, and stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead development efforts.

- Provide project management including prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and delivery tracking.

- Promote best practices in software development and documentation.

- Maintain accurate records of managed applications including versions and database structures.

- Ensure quality assurance processes are followed for software enhancements.

- Identify and mitigate risks to application availability; work closely with the Network Operations Center.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues around the clock.

- Manage vendor relationships through reviews, SLA monitoring, and regular meetings.

- Ensure adherence to change management policies for production deployments.

- Monitor project progress and remove roadblocks to meet deadlines.

- Recommend improvements to development tools and processes.

- Manage internal and vendor-provided technical resources within budget.

- Stay current with software technologies and security best practices.

- Ensure applications meet defined standards for security and availability.

- Provide oversight for on-call support during off-hours and holidays.

- Incorporate industry best practices into team activities.

- Maintain awareness of relevant laws and regulations, including those related to financial compliance.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Understand regulatory requirements and risks, and maintain controls to ensure operational integrity.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred; equivalent experience considered. Agile certifications preferred.

- Experience: 7+ years in financial or health services, including business analysis, application management, project management, and process improvement. 4+ years of direct team leadership, preferably in a financial institution. Agile or Azure DevOps experience strongly preferred.

- Knowledge/Skills:

- Familiarity with financial industry concepts and practices

- Understanding of enterprise products and operational guidelines

- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills

- Research, analysis, planning, and organizational abilities

- Logical reasoning and technical documentation skills

- Experience with enterprise software systems

- Ability to evaluate and recommend technical solutions

- Proven leadership in system upgrades and enhancements

- Proficiency in PC and software tools
