Role Overview
This role supports a project focused on advancing the Digital Priorities program for an Enterprise Digital Profile. The team will be responsible for upgrading and modernizing multi-business experiences and platforms. The objective is to create a customer-focused approach that consolidates data from multiple accounts into a unified view, improving the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications with a 50/50 balance between front-end and back-end work.
- Participate in upgrading and modernizing multi-business experiences and platforms.
- Work within an Agile methodology, contributing to two-week sprints.
- Create and consume REST APIs using Spring Boot.
- Develop user interfaces with Angular (version 8+).
- Implement unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with the team to design and build customer-focused solutions.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Experience with Java and Spring Boot for back-end development.
- Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
- Front-end development experience with Angular (version 8 or higher).
- Solid understanding of SQL for back-end database interaction.
- Experience with unit testing practices and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GraphQL is considered a plus and training may be available.
Work Environment
This position is part of the Profile and Beneficiary Team within the Workplace Investment business unit. The development methodology is Agile, with work organized into two-week sprints. The interview process is a single 45-60 minute session that includes functional and technical questions, as well as a brief screen-sharing exercise.
