Description: Job Summary

This is a full-time role that requires working both Saturday and Sunday. The remaining three workdays during the week can be chosen based on the candidate's preference. Weekend shifts are 8 hours each, running from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on V I Chip production and test equipment to support production schedules and maintain optimal machine performance.
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance to production operators.
  • Train and assess operators on equipment operation and process knowledge.
  • Manage spare parts and supply inventories, including purchasing, tracking stock levels, anticipating needs, and verifying incoming materials.
  • Prepare maintenance documentation by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Improve and troubleshoot equipment setups, optimize changeovers, and ensure full utilization of equipment capacity.
  • Develop and refine maintenance documentation for equipment and processes.
  • Support manufacturing and test engineering teams, including participating in tests and studies to validate new equipment or processes and confirm the performance of existing systems.
Education & Qualifications
  • Associate degree in electro-mechanical or electronic engineering (or equivalent) required.
  • Self-driven, hands-on technician with strong teamwork skills, urgency, and the ability to work independently.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting production equipment such as SMT pick-and-place systems, AOI tools, reflow ovens, automated dispensing systems, test handlers, testers, laser markers, PCB saws, and molding machines.
  • Familiarity with additional equipment-including Universal (Genesis), Disco saws, Fico molding systems, BTU reflow ovens, Asymtek (Axion), Delta handlers, Rofin lasers, and Stalhi lapping systems-is a plus.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff, including manufacturing personnel and maintenance technicians.
  • Experience creating work instructions.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics.
  • Experience programming and debugging automation.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, servos, and industrial electronics is beneficial.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
