REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Secret Clearance
DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, or systems engineering

Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, or systems engineering
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud architectures
- Strong understanding of secure cloud infrastructure and system design

Certifications
- DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
- One or more cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud)
- IAT Level III required for security-focused responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native services
- Experience with ACAS and vulnerability management tools
- Experience supporting federal or defense programs
- Experience working in classified or high-security environments
- Experience leading enterprise-level architecture initiatives

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect to support cloud architecture, cybersecurity engineering, and enterprise system design within a federal program.
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating secure cloud architectures across enterprise environments while leading engineering efforts and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards and mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure cloud architectures across enterprise environments
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the implementation of cybersecurity architecture
- Integrate new architectural capabilities into existing cloud infrastructures
- Apply cybersecurity standards, policies, and frameworks to cloud architecture design
- Develop and deliver enterprise-scale cloud solutions supporting mission requirements
- Resolve architecture implementation issues during integration and testing phases
- Support system engineering lifecycle activities related to cloud architecture and cybersecurity
- Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future architecture designs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on cloud solution development
