Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer / SRE to design, implement, and manage enterprise monitoring and observability solutions across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Splunk Cloud, Dynatrace, cloud platforms, automation, and incident management to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of critical applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk Cloud and Dynatrace.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, reports, and advanced SPL queries in Splunk.
• Configure and manage Dynatrace OneAgent across cloud, containerized, and legacy environments.
• Standardize telemetry collection (Metrics, Events, Logs, and Traces – MELT).
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and monitoring strategies.
• Perform root-cause analysis using Dynatrace Davis AI and drive incident resolution.
• Implement automation and self-healing solutions to improve system reliability.
• Manage Splunk data ingestion, indexing, retention policies, and cost optimization.
• Automate monitoring configurations using Terraform, Ansible, or Dynatrace Monaco.
• Integrate observability and monitoring controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend long-term reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve platform performance.

Required Skills

• 4–6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Monitoring, or Observability Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Splunk Cloud, SPL, Forwarders, CIM, and ITSI.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace APM, Synthetic Monitoring, Log Monitoring, and Distributed Tracing.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing SLI/SLO frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead reliability initiatives.
