We are seeking a
Senior UX Designer to join our team and work closely with a leading life sciences client on a long-term, temporary basis. You will play a pivotal role in designing a next-generation internal portal for laboratory automation and drug discovery research. This is an on-site position, requiring presence in the Boston office at least three days per week. This position will be temporary and start with a 6-month agreement with the possibility to extend for the right fit.

Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing with scientific staff and stakeholders
- Analyze data and develop mental models, customer journey maps, and service blueprints to inform design
- Create site maps, flows, navigation strategies, wireframes, and prototypes for the internal portal
- Present research findings, insights, and design recommendations to clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with content and creative leads on hierarchy, taxonomy, and interaction design
- Partner closely with the Business Analyst and cross-functional teams throughout the design and development lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing UX for pharmaceutical, life sciences, or laboratory automation environments
- Proficiency with UX software such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of design thinking, interaction design, usability best practices, and responsive design
- Proven ability to lead user research, testing activities, and deliverables
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on site in Boston, MA at least 3 days per week

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $75,000 - $125,000.
