We are seeking an experienced and technically accomplished Manager to join our Margin & Collateral Management Operations team supporting the U.S. Prime Services business.
This role requires a strong operational risk and control mindset, with a focus on supporting daily margin and collateral processes, following established procedures, and escalating issues appropriately. The incumbent will assist with margin call preparation, exposure monitoring, settlements, reconciliations, and exception management while developing knowledge of margin regulations.
The role will work closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and business partners to help ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled support for client financing activity.

Typical Day in Role:
Prime Brokerage Margin
- Monitor, calculate, and issue daily margin calls across the Prime Brokerage business, ensuring all margin requirements are met accurately and on time each business day.
- Ensure client margin accounts comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal risk and credit guidelines.
- Support the broader Prime Brokerage business through client onboarding, margin documentation reviews, and the ongoing management of client-specific margin terms and financing arrangements.
- Identify and promptly escalate margin deficiencies, account breaches, and atypical trading practices, including wire transfers and day-trading patterns, to senior management.
- Investigate and resolve breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and update daily reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Monitor workflow queues to ensure deadlines and service-level expectations are met.
- Support testing, system enhancements, and process documentation updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and counterparties to resolve operational issues and enhance processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 2+ years of experience in Prime Brokerage, Margin and Collateral Operations within a global financial institution, broker-dealer, or bank.
2. Working knowledge of U.S. broker-dealer and bank margin regulations, including Regulation T, Regulation U, FINRA Rule 4210, SEC Rule 15c3-3, and SEC Rule 15c3-1, with the ability to calculate, interpret, and apply applicable margin requirements.
3. Hands-on experience with collateral workflows, margining, and exposure reconciliation, including bilateral and tri-party processes.
4. FINRA Series 99, Operations Professional registration
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with cross-product margining across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and securities financing within a unified operational framework is an asset.
- Experience with Global One, Loan One, EquiLend, Colline, AcadiaSoft, Anvil, and Broadridge BPS is an asset.
- Working knowledge of OTC, Repo, and Prime Brokerage products, Asset Transfers, Portfolio Margin Regulatory Reporting, and Day Trading Practices.
- Familiarity with Prime Brokerage documentation and legal, regulatory, and trading agreements.

- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review data, identify issues, and support timely resolution.

Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance or Business.
