Crew technical analysis associates act as liaisons between business and technology teams, assisting in the design, development, and testing of technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Lines
Participate in design sessions with various business lines to gather, refine, and document requirements
Act as a user advocate, listen to pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement
Problem Definition and User Needs
Identify and articulate problem statements and user needs, ensuring solutions are rooted in real business challenges and user feedback
Challenge the status quo and strive for simplification and standardization
Sprint and Workload Planning
Work closely with design leads to prioritize and plan the design workload for each sprint and quarter
Assist with pre-work, schedule meetings and agendas, and document meeting minutes
Design Execution
Participate actively in design sessions (as driver or supporter depending on topic complexity), write user stories, and triage defects (first pass on all team defects)
Support release/sprint assignments and demo day participation
Alignment with Product Vision
Ensure all design efforts align with the overarching pillars of our product vision: user experience, operational cohesion, data quality, automation, and AI
Focus on designing scalable, configuration-based solutions that minimize custom code and maximize platform capabilities
Cross-Team Impact and Best Practices
Identify stories with cross-team impacts, support development of project plans and vision documents, and help establish functional best practices
Partner Engagement
Maintain relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs), partner with Product Change Liaisons (PCLs) to drive release readiness, and support development and testing teams with functionality questions
Personal Growth and Development
Engage in upskilling activities, such as Agile training, nCino and Salesforce certifications, and develop industry and functional expertise (e.g., credit and underwriting)
Qualifications:
Product Design Experience
Demonstrated experience in product design, preferably within financial technology or similar domains
Familiarity with end-to-end capability blueprints and business line processes is a plus
Design Thinking and User Research
Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies, user research, requirement gathering, and user story writing
Ability to translate business needs into actionable design solutions
Collaboration and Communication
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and facilitate design sessions
Agile and Sprint Planning
Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demo days
Technical Proficiency
Familiarity with nCino and Salesforce platforms, configuration-based solution design, and minimizing platform code-based customizations
Independent Work and Multitasking
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
Continuous Learning
Commitment to personal growth, including pursuing relevant certifications and developing expertise in industry-specific functions
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
