Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Ensure structural components and assemblies meet design specifications, quality standards, and performance requirements
Support inspection and validation of structural fabrication processes, including welding, bonding, and assembly
Partner with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve structural quality issues
Conduct root cause analysis for structural nonconformances and implement corrective actions
Review and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and structural requirements
Participate in testing and validation activities to verify structural performance and durability
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on structural integrity and manufacturing quality
Maintain documentation, reporting, and traceability for structural quality processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in structural quality, structural engineering, or related roles in manufacturing, marine, aerospace, or defense environments
Strong understanding of structural systems, load paths, and material behavior
Experience with fabrication processes such as welding, bonding, machining, or composite structures
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
Familiarity with inspection methods, testing protocols, and quality standards
Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
