Description
We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to support a retail organization in Newport, Minnesota through thoughtful, data-informed campaign execution. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience who can blend strong email production skills with a sharp eye for design, audience engagement, and platform performance. The role works closely with internal partners to build, launch, and refine email initiatives that strengthen customer communication and support business goals.
Responsibilities:
Create and deploy email campaigns that align with promotional calendars, brand standards, and engagement objectives.
Partner with internal teams to gather content, organize priorities, and keep campaign delivery on schedule.
Build, test, and optimize emails within marketing platforms, including Salesforce Platform and Klaviyo.
Develop email layouts and messaging that improve readability, strengthen branding, and encourage customer response.
Monitor campaign results such as open rates, click-through performance, and conversions to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain audience lists, segmentation logic, and campaign setup details to support accurate targeting and execution.
Troubleshoot rendering, link, and deployment issues to help ensure a smooth subscriber experience.
Recommend refinements to workflows, creative approaches, and send strategies based on performance insights and business needs.
Requirements
3+ years of experience managing email marketing initiatives, preferably within a retail environment.
Hands-on knowledge of email campaign development, testing, deployment, and performance analysis.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms, including experience working in Salesforce Platform and Klaviyo.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams across marketing, creative, and business functions.
Strong understanding of email design principles, responsive formatting, and subscriber engagement best practices.
Experience using campaign data to evaluate results and guide optimization decisions.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
