Job Title: IoT Engineer

Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid

Job Description:

We are looking for an IoT Engineer with experience in Operational Technology (OT), industrial systems, and application support within Oil & Gas or similar industries. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving OT applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain OT systems, applications, and devices.
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues.
• Configure and administer applications, servers, and interfaces.
• Work on system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
• Manage documentation for systems, processes, and disaster recovery.
• Provide on-call support when required.
• Ensure compliance with security and audit standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, or OT environments.
• Experience with SQL/MySQL databases.
• Understanding of routers, switches, firewalls, and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Oil & Gas or Terminal Automation systems.
• Knowledge of secure remote access tools like BeyondTrust.
• Certifications in Linux, Networking, or Security.

Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience.
