PLM Process and Digital Thread Lead

• Responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing product lifecycle management (PLM) processes and supporting digital thread initiatives across enterprise engineering and operations functions.
• The role focuses on process transformation, PLM system alignment, and ensuring seamless end-to-end product data flow across business units and systems.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle processes or PLM systems.
• Experience mapping, analyzing, and redesigning business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with enterprise transformation programs.
• Ability to interpret technical and process-related information effectively.

Experience:

• Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or configuration management environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with product data management or enterprise architecture concepts.
• Exposure to digital thread or model-based engineering initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current ways of working across business units and document existing processes.
• Study and interpret future PLM360 processes and operating models.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Perform gap analysis between current and future state processes.
• Define business unit process requirements for future PLM environments.
• Support change impact assessments to ensure smooth adoption.
• Collaborate with SMEs and process leads to align expectations and outcomes.
• Contribute to workflow and tool development from a process perspective.
• Maintain and manage product data flow across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure end-to-end visibility and consistency of information flows.
• Identify and resolve data or process silos across teams and systems.
• Support digital thread architecture alignment across engineering and operations.
• Provide insights and recommendations on PLM architecture and design decisions.
• Act as a bridge between Teamcenter and related PLM tools and programs.
• Promote digital thread practices across engineering, supply chain, and operations.
• Support definition of standardized processes, metrics, and improvement frameworks.

Should Have:

• Experience with digital thread or model-based engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or CMMI frameworks.
• Strong collaboration and influence skills without direct authority.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Structured and logical problem-solving mindset.
• Strong interest in process excellence and digital transformation.
