Java Developer Duration: 12 months contract Location: Plano, TX JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in Java and the Spring Framework to support the development of the next generation of Toyota Financial Services' core platform. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with relational databases and cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and will be involved in the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
- Deliver features end-to-end, including coding, unit testing, functional testing, and production deployment
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Requirements:- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java
- 5+ years of experience with the Spring Framework
- 2+ years of cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Experience designing and building event-based microservices
- Strong understanding of relational databases
Bonus if you have (Preferred): - Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
