Summary

Integration Architect Boomi & API Management (Kong / Apigee) Role Summary

We are looking for an Integration Architect with strong expertise in Boomi AtomSphere to design and govern scalable, secure enterprise integrations. Boomi is the primary platform, while API Management (Kong or Apigee) is a critical secondary skill. The architect must be Boomi certified and, upon selection, will complete Kong certification.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and deliver enterprise integrations using Boomi AtomSphere
Design API-led integrations and manage APIs using Kong or Apigee
Define scalable integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven)
Lead design, estimation, and technical decision-making for integration initiatives
Establish integration standards, best practices, and governance
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, availability, and security requirements
Provide technical leadership and guidance to integration teams
Collaborate with application, cloud, and security teams in Agile environments

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an Integration Architect or Senior Integration Lead
Strong hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere
Boomi certification (mandatory)
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with API Management platforms:
- Kong or Apigee
Strong understanding of distributed systems, parallel processing, and fault tolerance
Experience with cloud and hybrid integration architectures
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

Kong or Apigee certification (or willingness to complete post-selection)
Experience with messaging or event-driven architectures
Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
