Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex ERP, enterprise systems, and End User Computing (EUC) transformation programs. This role requires deep expertise in Workday, Concur, OneStream-to-Hyperion, and large-scale endpoint/VDI deployments, along with strong experience in M&A integrations, governance, and organizational change management.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Program Management
- Drive full lifecycle delivery across ERP, enterprise systems, and EUC programs
- Develop and own detailed, integrated program plans, including:
- Milestones, dependencies, critical paths
- Resource planning and sequencing across multiple workstreams
- Ensure alignment across enterprise systems and infrastructure dependencies
2. Execution Excellence
- Lead execution with strong governance frameworks:
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and key decisions
- Manage RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions)
- Proactively identify blockers and drive resolution
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across:
- Business, IT, Finance, HR
- Security, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams
- External stakeholders (including Thermo Fisher ecosystem if applicable)
- Deliver executive-level reporting, escalations, and decision support
3. Organizational Change Management (OCM)
- Design and execute change management and communication strategies
- High-level executive communications
- Detailed operational and user-facing communications
- Develop:
- Transition playbooks
- SOPs and training materials
- Ensure operational readiness and user adoption
4. M&A Integration (Mandatory)
- Lead ERP and system integration efforts for M&A programs, including:
- System consolidation and cutover planning
- Data migration and harmonization
- Finance and HR system alignment
- Manage integration risks and ensure business continuity
5. EUC Program Leadership (Critical)
Program Governance
- Establish and lead robust governance structures for EUC transformation programs
- Drive phased rollout strategy:
- POC → Pilot → Full-scale deployment
- Manage wave-based deployment across:
- 5,000+ endpoints (workstations)
- 3,000+ VDIs
Operational Readiness Ownership
- Take end-to-end ownership of readiness across:
- SOC (Security Operations Center) operating model
- Support and escalation workflows
- Defender (or endpoint security) transition validation
- Reporting and monitoring enablement
- Ensure all operational functions are fully prepared prior to scaling deployment
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Orchestrate alignment across:
- IT Operations
- Security
- Service Desk
- Infrastructure teams
- Vendors and partners
- Ensure synchronization between:
- Workstation deployment
- VDI implementation workstreams
Deployment Tracking & Reporting
- Establish and manage centralized tracking mechanisms, including:
- Installation status
- Wave progress and segmentation
- Deliver:
- SteerCo-level dashboards and reporting
- Risk visibility and mitigation tracking
Pilot Governance & Scaling
- Define structured pilot cohorts across representative user groups
- Implement go/no-go gating criteria:
- Validate readiness before scaling
- Drive disciplined transition from pilot → production rollout
Required Skills & Experience
Enterprise Systems Expertise
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with:
- Workday (HR/Finance modules)
- Concur
- OneStream & Hyperion (EPM systems)
- 5+ years of deep understanding of:
- System integrations
- Enterprise data flows across HR, Finance, and IT
EUC & Infrastructure Delivery
- 5+ years of Proven experience managing large-scale endpoint and VDI deployments
- Expertise in:
- Deployment strategies (phased/wave-based rollout)
- Endpoint security and governance (Defender or similar tools)
- Operational readiness and support model transitions
Program Management Excellence
- 5+ years of strong track record in end-to-end delivery of complex programs
- Expertise in:
- Governance frameworks
- RAID management
- Multi-workstream coordination
M&A Experience (Mandatory)
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in post-merger integration programs
- Strong understanding of system consolidation in multi-entity environments
Soft Skills
- Strong executive communication and influencing ability
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate in high ambiguity and matrixed environments
- Leadership without authority across global teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Life Sciences / regulated industries
- PMP / PgMP or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Clarity
