Talend Developer

Mandatory Skills

1. Must have at least five (5) years of experience working with SQL for querying, joining, optimizing, and manipulating data from relational databases.
2. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience working with Talend ETL tools, including Talend Open Studio, Talend Data Integration, Talend Big Data, or Talend Cloud.
3. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for ETL automation, data transformation, and custom integrations.
4. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Talend ETL Developer utilizing extract, transform, and load (ETL) toolsets for legacy-to-Salesforce data migration projects.
5. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in projects involving enterprise data migration from existing systems to new platforms, performing the following activities:
   • Data migration planning and strategy
   • Data profiling and cleansing
   • Pre-migration validation testing
   • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) execution
   • Post-migration reconciliation and validation
   • Data security and compliance management throughout migration lifecycle
6. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience performing Talend ETL processing for projects involving more than fifty (50) million legacy records migrated into Salesforce environments.
7. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience supporting and working with at least one of the following technologies:
   • Salesforce
   • PostgreSQL
   • Talend
   • OwnBackup
8. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2, and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
9. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with cloud data engineering and integration services in AWS or Azure environments.
10. Must possess current certifications in Talend, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), database technologies, or related ETL/data engineering certifications. Copies of certifications must be attached.

Desirable Skills

1. Minimum seven (7) years of experience working with Salesforce data integration and migration projects.
2. Minimum three (3) years of experience working with Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
3. Minimum seven (7) years of experience working with Talend ETL, PostgreSQL, or enterprise data integration platforms.
4. Experience establishing enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and solutions.
5. Minimum three (3) years of experience working with mainframe data storage and VSAM files.
6. Experience working with IBM Query Management Facility (QMF) and IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA) for z/OS.
7. Experience decomposing and mapping Binary Large Object (BLOB) and Character Large Object (CLOB) data into normalized repositories.
8. Minimum three (3) years of experience with object-oriented programming concepts and development.
9. Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated experience within the last ten (10) years preparing functional and technical documentation for large-scale enterprise or government projects valued at twenty (20) million dollars or more.
10. Experience implementing Talend data quality, data governance, and metadata management solutions.
11. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
