RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in NYC is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help drive automation, improve deployment processes, and support scalable cloud-based environments. This role will focus on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing platform reliability, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
What You'll Do:
* Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
* Support containerized environments and cloud-native platforms
* Improve software delivery, release management, and operational efficiency
* Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline processes
* Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot production issues
* Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams
* Champion DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* DevOps, Kubernetes, or cloud certifications
* 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools, automation, and release management
* Experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud environments
* Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
* Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and DevSecOps practices
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
* Experience with Azure cloud technologies
* Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, etc.)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
