Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Lead - Data Automation for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role requires deep expertise in leading end-to-end quality assurance for large-scale data migration and reporting initiatives, with a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategy, driving automation, ensuring data and reporting integrity, and providing technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities: - Own QA strategy and delivery for data migration and reporting applications
- Lead and execute source-to-target data validation and reconciliation of data coming from multiple data sources
- Design and drive Python-based automation for data and report testing
- Validate ETL pipelines, data warehouse loads, and batch processes
- Ensure accuracy of reports, dashboards, and aggregations
- Follow Agile practices and routines and communicate work progress effectively
- Lead defect triage, risk management, and release sign-off
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
Requirements: - 10-15 years of strong QA Lead or Senior QA experience in data-centric environments
- 7 years of hands-on Python automation and advanced SQL
- 10 years of experience with data migration, ETL, data warehousing, and reporting QA
- 10 years of experience with enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Python and DB2
- Experience using copilot and AI tools for enhanced productivity
- Strong understanding of a test-driven approach along with OOPS concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Agile Methodology
