Overview
The client is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help support the growth of our Contact Center business. In this role, you ll partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement to bring our Contact Center solutions to market and help customers understand the value Zendesk can deliver. You ll play a key role in shaping positioning and messaging, supporting product launches, developing sales and customer-facing content, and bringing market and customer insights back into the business. This role is a great fit for a product marketer who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution, can quickly get up to speed on complex products, and thrives in a highly collaborative environment.
This is a temporary role providing coverage for a member of the Product Marketing team.
In this role, you ll quickly build context on Zendesk s Contact Center business and become a trusted partner to Product and go-to-market teams. You ll help maintain momentum across priority initiatives, deliver clear and compelling product narratives, and ensure teams are equipped with the messaging and materials they need to successfully bring Zendesk s Contact Center solutions to market
Responsibilities
Develop and refine clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for Zendesk s Contact Center solutions.
Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and other teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products, capabilities, and strategic initiatives.
Support product launches from strategy through execution, including messaging, launch materials, internal communications, and sales readiness.
Create compelling product marketing content, including pitch decks, solution briefs, web copy, customer presentations, and sales enablement materials. Equip Sales and customer-facing teams with the messaging, tools, and competitive context they need to confidently engage customers and prospects.
Build a strong understanding of Contact Center buyers, customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.
Partner closely with Product teams to bring market and customer perspectives into product strategy and translate product capabilities into clear customer value.
Support competitive positioning and differentiation to help articulate why customers should choose Zendesk.
Use qualitative and quantitative insights to evaluate go-to-market effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4 7 years of relevant experience, including experience in product marketing, preferably in cSaaS or enterprise technology.
Experience developing positioning and messaging and supporting product launches and go-to-market programs.
Strong ability to understand complex or technical products and translate them into simple, compelling customer value.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Experience developing high-quality customer-facing and sales enablement content.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing needs, and independently move work forward in a fast-paced environment.
A strong customer and market orientation, with the ability to turn insights into clear product marketing recommendations.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in Contact Center, CCaaS, customer service, conversational AI, voice, workforce engagement, or adjacent technology categories.
Familiarity with Contact Center and customer experience buyers.
Experience marketing AI-powered SaaS products or bringing AI capabilities to market.
Experience supporting enterprise sales motions
Hands-on experience or familiarity with Analyst Relations (AR) processes.
