At Vallourec, we are seeking individuals whose passion and dedication match the strength and resilience of the steel we produce. The Master Data Analyst will directly support warehouse implementation, control and governance of standards related to stock part number nomenclature practices. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Sourcing establishing and applying standards for the control of the stock by part number and related business processes.
Your Role at a Glance
  • Support operations by creating, monitoring, and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization.
  • Ensure quality of master data in key systems as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support on-going maintenance and data integrity.
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
  • Maintain material master, including creation of new items, description changes, min/max changes, etc.
  • Obsolete tracking through approvals, perform SAP transactions to remove items from inventory and follow through disposal of items.
  • Monitor campus wide inventory levels. Conduct monthly reviews with key internal stakeholders to analyze inventory data (Power BI report) by MRP Control area responsibility.

We're looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Industrial Management
  • 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in industrial environment
  • Ability to create, implement, and facilitate highly independent project work
  • Knowledge use of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated skills in data administration, design, and architecture
  • Flexible and able to work within changing business conditions and technologies
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite (excel) skills
  • Must have experience with SAP; PR/PO process, goods / services description, part number nomenclature a plus
