Rate: $59 Per Hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer for a contract-to-hire position. This role involves leading a team dedicated to engineering projects across various business units. The position is primarily focused on solution development, creating realistic estimates for funding, and breaking down work for the development team, with approximately 10% of the time spent on hands-on development. The lead will act as a technical liaison, ensuring the development team adheres to standards and processes while interacting with business stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution development and provide realistic estimates for new initiatives.
- Break down approved work to a detailed level for hand-off to the development team.
- Ensure implementation meets all requirements and follows established processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors for staff augmentation on approved projects.
- Act as an escalation point for the development team and manage internal issue resolution.
- Serve as a technical liaison between the development team, business units, and external partners.
- Operate within an agile framework, contributing to agile pods.
- Ensure the development team follows standards, processes, and automation best practices.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- A minimum of seven years of experience as a Developer.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Lead role.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with Java, React with Next.js, and SQL.
- Experience with Couchbase version 8 or higher.
Professional Attributes:- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and handle stress effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full-stack development experience.
- Experience with Android development.
- Possession of an AWS certification.
- A degree in Computer Science.
