Job Description

The ADI Technical Support Department is responsible for providing technical customer support and offers both pre-sales and post-sales assistance for over 300 products from 15 to 20 different vendors, covering all aspects of the fire and security industry.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to develop their expertise within the security and fire protection sector and deliver a high level of technical support to ensure an excellent customer experience. The goal is to contribute to the success of the customer service function, enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Learn, under the guidance of experienced technical staff, to understand project requirements and system functionality
  • Assist with remote site surveys (as required) to gather site information and identify potential challenges.
  • Support senior technicians in diagnosing technical issues and determining appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in classroom and hands-on training programs to develop technical and customer support skills.
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of service reports and documentation.
  • Develop an understanding of customer requirements and assist in preparing recommendations.
  • Support customers with installation methods and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and reporting updates to senior team members.
  • Learn how to collect key metrics and data to support reporting and analysis.
  • Support the delivery of training and development programs for internal teams and customers when required.

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Initial experience with electronic products through academic projects, internships, apprenticeships, or professional experience.
  • Fluent Flemmish/Dutch and French is required; English skills are an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
