Oracle Cloud Data Conversion Lead –
Location: Irvine, CA – Remote
Travel: Must be ready to travel for workshops and key milestones; in-person presence required for all workshops/key milestones-Expenses will be paid 

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Data Conversion Lead with strong Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/SCM experience to lead end-to-end data migration and conversion activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with data profiling, mapping, transformation, mock conversions, validation, reconciliation, and cutover execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document data migration strategy, methodology, standards, and approach.
• Identify source systems, assess data quality, and define data cleansing requirements.
• Develop data mapping and transformation documents between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Design and develop ETL/data conversion processes using FBDI, ADFDI, OTBI, and other Oracle tools.
• Develop SQL/PLSQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Execute data conversions across Oracle Finance, SCM, HCM, and related modules.
• Conduct mock conversions, dry runs, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Work closely with functional teams to validate converted data and obtain business sign-off.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot data conversion issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain conversion documentation, audit trails, deployment procedures, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and adherence to data governance standards.
• Support analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production activities.
• Translate business requirements into technical data conversion solutions.
• Complete development and conversion tasks based on business requirements.
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15 years of overall experience in Oracle ERP implementations and technologies.
• 8+ years of Oracle Cloud experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Oracle ERP/SCM Cloud programs.
• Strong end-to-end data migration lifecycle experience, including:
  • Source data profiling and cleansing
  • Data mapping
  • Transformation logic
  • Data validation and reconciliation
  • Dry runs/mock conversions
  • Cutover execution
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance and SCM.
• Strong understanding of the Oracle Cloud data model.
• Hands-on expertise with:
  • FBDI
  • ADFDI
  • OTBI
  • SQL / PL/SQL
  • Oracle data migration tools
  • FBL / Fusion import and load processes
  • HDL for HCM
• Multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud data conversion cycles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with functional and technical teams in large Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Strong documentation and deployment process experience.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and data governance best practices.

Preferred

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
• Experience leading large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversion programs.
• Experience across multiple Oracle Cloud modules, including Finance, SCM, and HCM.
