Role Overview
The User Experience and Design team is responsible for software design across advisor services platforms, primarily for desktop and responsive mobile applications. We are a multi-disciplinary group of user experience designers, visual designers, content writers, and researchers. Our purpose is to design tools and experiences that enable users to achieve their financial goals by partnering with strategic business and technology teams to build best-in-class software experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaborative design sessions, including sketching and ideation.
- Lead design reviews and drive design decisions.
- Create design solutions with a multi-faceted team, considering all aspects of the user experience.
- Translate established patterns and design systems to ensure company goals are met.
- Visualize ideas in a clear form (sketch, diagram, wireframe, or prototype) and provide appropriate documentation.
- Set expectations with the project team, prioritize activities, and maintain design schedules.
- Communicate status and agreements with the project team.
- Conduct primary design activities, create deliverables, and perform quality assurance at an expert level.
- Participate in and support user research efforts.
- Work collaboratively with all partners to deliver work and support team members.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: Expertise with foundational UX principles, experience executing high-fidelity design, and documentation/project tracking experience using tools like Confluence and Jira.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $65.00/hr - $75.00/hr
