job summary:

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to lead the modernization of legacy mainframe systems into cloud-native architectures. You will spend most of your time writing high-performing Java/Spring code and API endpoints. To decode legacy logic, you'll leverage cutting-edge AI tools (like Claude) alongside your engineering instincts to navigate complex, ambiguous codebases.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain core Java applications using the Spring Framework.

Develop robust RESTful APIs to connect modernized services.

Analyze legacy COBOL and mainframe workflows using generative AI tools to map out cloud migration strategies.

Contribute to cloud-native microservices and distributed architecture on AWS.
