Technical Product Manager

6-Month W2 Contract (Possible Extension)
Onsite – Austin, TX
Pay: $60–$65/hour DOE

Russell Tobin is supporting a global technology and eCommerce organization in hiring a Technical Product Manager to join a high-impact team focused on business payments, procurement workflows, and automation initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on products that support large-scale business customers and influence mission-critical purchasing and account management experiences.


What You’ll Do

  • Own strategic planning, product vision, experimentation roadmaps, and KPI frameworks to measure business impact
  • Partner closely with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and manage product roadmaps
  • Drive customer research and insights to inform product investments and experience improvements
  • Establish data-driven mechanisms to identify product and customer experience gaps
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand root causes of customer pain points and deliver scalable solutions
  • Launch pilot programs, analyze results, iterate quickly, and scale successful features globally
  • Influence cross-functional teams and build alignment around product strategy and execution


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Program Management, or related technical business roles
  • Experience managing technical/software products in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into detailed product and technical requirements
  • Proven experience delivering software products from concept through deployment
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of roadmap ownership, prioritization, feature tradeoffs, and customer-focused product development
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payments, procurement systems, workflow automation, or enterprise/B2B platforms
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Experience leading experimentation and pilot initiatives at scale
