Technical Project Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead multiple initiatives within a dynamic non-profit organization based in New York, NY. This long-term contract position requires a strategic thinker who can oversee projects, optimize processes, and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Manage the implementation and deployment of mobile device management solutions, specifically utilizing Microsoft Intune.
Lead efforts in optimizing the volunteer management system and ensure successful deployment across the organization.
Conduct assessments of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and reworking workflows.
Oversee procurement, onboarding, and service provisioning initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business cases and define clear paths toward achieving operational goals.
Ensure deliverables are met within established timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to align project objectives.
Monitor multiple concurrent projects, ensuring proper resource allocation and risk management.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and assessments.
Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to ensure the practical implementation of solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT project management, including leading large-scale deployments.
Strong knowledge of mobile device management solutions, particularly Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem and related technologies.
Ability to analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on technical expertise, not limited to conceptual understanding.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Background in procurement, onboarding, and service provisioning is a plus.
